The carrier-No Love Can Save Me.

Melodic hardcore can often be a cliche, even cheesy genre *ahem*, but the carrier is different. Their ep titled "No Love Can Save Me" is 10 minutes of pure gold. Each of the three songs are packed with energy, and they tell a tale of a world coming to its end, and the overall feeling of helplessness that accompanies it. This is an album worth downloading, even if you don't like hardcore in any capacity. Its 10 minutes of your time, and you will probably end up enjoying it.

If i have managed to persuade you you can download it here

or if your a vinyl dork like me, you can buy it on 7' vinyl here,

or you can waste a few hours here

DANGERS-ANGER

Honestly, if you are a fan of hardcore in ANY capacity, and you don't listen to dangers, you're either A.) fucking retarded, or b.) you're stuck in the 90's and haven't listened to anything since the early 2000's. Either way, you're really missing out. Seriously. This album is very aptly titled. front to back, this album is the angriest, hardest hitting, mosh inducing releases Ive heard, ever. For 23 minutes and 11 seconds this album will annihilate your stereo and any nearby ear drums. I tried to pick out some recommended tracks from this album, but its just TOO good to pick one. As of late, there's been a lot of really generic, bland hardcore. When this album was released, it completly broke the trend of shitty, generic releases, and for this, I am truely greatful. Much like the instrumentation of Dangers, this album has some of the most well written, straight forward, and brutally honest lyrics youve ever heard.
I cant stress enough how much you have to hear this album. Even if youve already heard it, go put it on. Destroy your basement, destroy your moms basement, destroy your sisters basement. I dont give a fuck, just break something.

kind of like spitting- you seceretly want me dead.

The more i listen to Ben Barnett/Kind Of Like spitting, the more i realize how much girls suck. Kind of like spitting has had this figured out long before my time, but boy am I glad I discovered this band. they have pretty much been the sound track to my teenage heartbreak. The tracks "we got as far as Minnesota" and "Afraid of crushes" are among the most honest, and crushing things I've ever heard. This is lo-fi depression at its finest. I strongly recommend turning out the lights, grabbing a cold beer, putting this album on, and wallowing in all your women-related issues.
RIYL: loneliness, depression, and heartbreak.

This album ranks in the top one percentile of all albums ever made. Honestly, I'm ashamed that I haven't posted this sooner, because there isn't one song on this album I feel just "meh"about. Front to back, this album is perfect. The first track "never meant" has a nice summer vibe to it, unless your paying attention to the lyrics, then its actually sad/depressing. Luckily for me, im a sad/depressed guy more often than not. Lyricly, this album makes a perfect sound track to my teen angst. Also, the closing track "the one with the wurlitzer" is the definition of a perfect insturmental song.
You should really get into this album.
